This workshop is to make your own Pendant and chain using jewellers wax. Its also the perfect activity to do with the special woman in your life to celebrate Mothers Day weekend.
The wax carving process used in lost wax casting is an ancient method of jewellery making taught exclusively to jewellers. I want to share this craft with you so that everyone can create a piece of jewellery of their own design, unique to them, that they can treasure forever!
During the session you will design, form and engrave the wax to create your very own custom pendant from scratch.
You will then leave your finished pieces with me ready to take to the casters here in Birmingham's, Jewellery Quarter. All pieces in the session will be cast in recycled sterling silver as standard. Your piece is then finished by myself in the workshop, and returned to you in the post - or you can collect from the workshop.
*Any silver above the 3g allowance will be invoiced following the workshop before casting. If you choose not to cast your wax model I will return it to you.
*You can also pay extra to have your wax cast in 9ct Yellow recycled gold or 18ct eco gold plated.
