This workshop is to make your own signet ring using wax carving. The wax carving process used in lost wax casting is an ancient method of jewellery making taught exclusively to jewellers. I want to share this craft with you so that everyone can create a ring of their own design, unique to them, that they can treasure forever! During the session you will design, carve and finish your wax. You will then leave your finished pieces with me ready to take to the casters here in Birmingham's, Jewellery Quarter. All rings in the session will be cast in recycled sterling silver. Your ring is then finished by myself in the workshop and retunred to you in the post - or you can collect from the workshop. Tea, coffee and cake is provided. Please let me know of any dietary requirement's asap after booking your place.
