This workshop is to make your own personalised ingot necklace using jewellers wax.

The wax carving process used in lost wax casting is an ancient method of jewellery making taught exclusively to jewellers. I want to share this craft with you so that everyone can create a ring of their own design, unique to them, that they can treasure forever!

During the session you will design, form and use textures, stamps, engraving and carving to create your very own personalised ingot pendant. If you have something personal and sentimental to you that you would like to use to create texture, then please bring this along to the session!

You will then leave your finished pieces with me ready to take to the casters here in Birmingham's, Jewellery Quarter. All pieces in the session will be cast in recycled sterling silver. Your pendant is then finished by myself in the workshop, a recycled sterling silver chain is added and retunred to you in the post - or you can collect from the workshop.

Tea, coffee and cake is provided. Please let me know of any dietry requirments asap after booking your place.

*Any silver above the 3g allowance will be invoiced following the workshop before casting. If you choose not to cast your wax model I will return it to you.

*You can also pay extra to have your wax cast in 9ct Yellow recycled gold or 18ct eco gold plated.
